    works perfectly

    i have the Norelco 6423 LC - the razor with the chord and no battery to go bad. had it for about six years or more and it was finally not cutting hardly at all. thought about getting a new razor and found these for sale. i was not sure, but read some reviews and decided to go for it. MAN!!! i now hare a brand new razor, or better. what a good deal.

    Compromised Product

    These cutters, while purportedly new, were not properly sharp. They behaved like cutters that had been used for a year---and I should know, because they replaced cutters that had been used for a year and which had declined to about the level of these supposedly new ones. Given that they are Philips Norelco heads (cutters plus screens), the quality is very good, but they simply are not properly sharp the way new cutters are supposed to be. I know precisely how cutters should behave in various states of wear, having used Norelco shavers for the past 20 years. This was a bad deal.

    If they don't last a year I wouldn't consider them a good value.

    Fits my Norelco razer. That's good. I'll see how long the heads last!! Follow-up on original comment.. at 3 months one head began making screeching sound and I replaced it with an original 'worn' head that is more than 3 years old and that came with the razer. At 4 months a second head began making screeching sound and I replaced it with another original 'worn' head. These heads came in a Norelco box of 3 heads but quality is not good at all. I don't know whether these heads (they cost $16-17) are knock-offs or not but are not worth the money spent!!!
