    Fast, Easy to Use Roku Streaming Stick

    Roku Streaming Stick is a great entry level streaming device for all HDMI capable TVs. It works best for secondary TVs (kitchen, office, bedroom). Other Roku devices are better for HD, 4k, surround sound installations. I like this generation Stick because it includes power and volume controls for your TV. I don't find much value for the 4 Hot buttons on the remote. This "RT" model has a specific Hot button for Direct TV Now, which again I do not use. This model has been discontinued, but still recommended, if you can find a not previously registered stick.

    works, but not reliably

    Easy to set up and use, but most of the time it hangs up or the buttons don't work at all. I have no clue what is wrong, but I bought it to replace another one that had suddenly come down with the same problems (before that it had worked perfectly). I'm guessing something in their update has screwed the unit up to the point of only working sporadically / inconsistently anymore. (And yes, it has fresh batteries that were checked with a volt meter prior to installation)

    Way better than paying for Comcast equipment.

    Great replacement for that expensive Comcast DTA.Only thing to make it better would be able to just type in the channel number you want to watch from the get go.

    Sometimes, newer is not always better.

    Great deal and it works great. I'm not a big fan of the newest style that has a special expensive to replace usb power supply cable that has the WiFi receiver built into it. This version is a much more practical design and lets you use generic USB power cables if something happens to the original.
