Slow moving, but well writte
The Night Circus takes a very long time for anything to really start happening. I was about 300 pages in before anything slightly exciting happened. The novel is very heavy on narration compared to dialogue, and while I'm not a fan of that style, the writing is very beautiful and descriptive. Even though I consider this book to be slow and uneventful it still keeps my interest. I haven't finished yet, but I'm hoping the story picks up because like I said, over 300 pages out of 512 without anything that's really happened yet. I only recommend this book to readers who truly enjoy wordy and descriptive books. At the point I'm at I'm not understanding the rave reviews of the book yet.
