Hamilton Beach knocks out George Forman
This a wonderful grill. I did quite a bit of research on indoor grills. I live in an adult community on the ground floor , and have a deck. We are not allowed to use gas or electric grills . This product is the perfect solution, especially the searing feature. It is easy to use,grills well, and easy to clean. Heats up quickly, Cooks fast (both sides at the same time!), Cleans easily (wet paper towels and tongs), and I absolutely love the sear feature! Just season both sides of the meat before you lay it on the grill - It actually gets hot enough to sear the meat well! Perfect for steak, lamb and pork chops, - even bacon! The handle stays cool, the unit is compact and the drip cup makes it easy to save the bacon fat for cooking veggies in a skillet. I loved my previous Hamilton Beach contact grill. It took me many years to wear it out. This item demonstrates HB’s intent to cheapen the product. The cord is shorter.
