    Best For The Price

    Inexpensive but a great coffee pot. Has selection for regular or bold coffee (I like the bold). Tried other brands but coffee never seemed to get HOT like it should. This one does. Programmable with auto shut-off after two hours a nice feature.....Can also accommodate the Hamilton Beach water filter in brewing chamber if desired (not included in box).

    Makes good to great coffee, spot too little and overflows onto counter top.

    The negative first: pot itself has a very little pour spot and will over flow onto the counter top! My wife hates it. The good: The basket is a cone shape not the cup shape but it enhances all the coffee being used to its full extent. This makes it a very good brewing machine. The price is very good as well. I would not buy it again and would buy a better more expensive model. That said, it does brew one very good cup of coffee!

    Simple, no fuss, small footprint, simply great coffee!

    Perfect little and simple coffee maker, no fuss just good coffee. Easier to put the water in than in our old Gevalia coffee maker that finally bit the dust after about 4 years. We brew a lot of coffee at home so this model works well for us. Price was important and this was the best model we found in our range of $20-25 models.

    This is A very good basic coffeemaker that has what you need to make coffee , plus it's highly rated by Consumer Reports. The power cord is slightly short , but over all this is A wonderful coffee maker. I think it's , Better than many expensive models . This little baby gets the job done . It's Inexpensive & Simple to operate . I'm happy with my purchase and would purchase again!

    Not bad for the price, a few minor flaws.

    It seems to be a little slow to finish brewing. It takes about 10 minutes for 10 cups. It has a minor irritating design flaw. A #4 filter doesn't fit without cramming in in the basket or folding the filter along the side edge to reduce the circumference of the filter to match the basket. To fully drain the carafe, you have to hold it almost totally upside down and hold the lid closed with your other hand. I wish the water spray head provided better coverage of the coffee grounds. It seems to disburse about a 1 inch in diameter area in the center of the coffee. While the coffee eventually all gets wet, a better dispersion of water would do wonders for extraction. It brews good coffee and the water is close to being the right temperature. I measured 188 degrees for the water temperature. ...
