    Works great and a bonus too!

    I bought the mat to reduce the static that was causing "pops" and "ticks" on my records. It is thin enough that I can place over the existing rubber mat, and not significantly change height of tonearm. The static reduced, but I never expected that the mat would make such a dramatic difference in the music itself. Bass, mids, and treble sounded much fuller on my albums, a bonus from just reducing static. Very pleased with the purchase and would encourage anyone who wants to improve the sound of their albums to give it a try.
