    Replaced my 50 yr. old player that had quit 2 years ago.

    It is always hopeful that you will be dealing with an honest seller and I feel I did. My only disappointment was that I cannot remove the cord. My old Panasonic came with a cord that could be plugged into the recorder (or not). I use it with batteries most often so having to drag the player around with the cord attached is very inconvenient. I wish I had known that before ordering. The sound is good; the volume control can create some static while being adjusted but I am trying to work with that. I hope that does not show up when recording. I do realize that this is a used player - so was happy to find one that was in fairly good shape.

    This USA great cassette player/recorder

    I have used this same model tape recorder for many years and when it stopped working I went to eBay to find another one of the same model. There are many Panasonic models available, but this one is sturdy and works great. I like the tape counter function to locate a special song on the tape. Thanks to eBay, I can play my recordings again. Caseyenterprises707

    Broken

    We have had this recorder less than 24 hrs and one of the gears inside the recorder keeps coming off. Such a pain to take it apart put the gear back on the metal rod and put it back together just for it to pop right back off.
