    Zeiss 24-70 mm f 2.8 mm alpha mount

    This model has smooth Bokeh, and sharp images. Picture quality is better than the comparable specifications as the Tamron model. Looking forward to using it in the semi pro capacity. Blends well with the transition to G series glass for higher zoom ranges.

    Beautiful

    If you are going to pay for a top shelf zoom lens, this is the range to splurge on. I tried for weeks to find cheaper options, but ultimately decided that this was going to be the workhorse on my A99. The build quality and image quality have been impressive and as-advertised. The sturdy metal hood is a nice touch. Some reported that the lens is excessively heavy, but it seems very manageable to me on my A99, and I hike with it. One small knock would be the lack of a zoom lock. The lens often extends completely while I hike around with it at my side. I also wish it was environmentally sealed. However, those are small issues. You should bite the bullet and buy this lens if you have a professional Sony body to match. I also splurged on the Sony 75-400G for about the same price this last year. ...

    I would recommend this lend to anyone without question.

    Extremely sharp across the entire focal range, great contrast and color. Built like a tank. This is an expensive well made lens that is extremely capable. However there are many lenses that will give good results at a much less expensive ptice.
