The only drawback that I have is that the LCD display is a little dimmer in natural light than other weather stations that I have had in the past. It has a back light function, which lights up the display with the press of a button, and you can read everything just fine, but if you used it all the time it would probably shorten battery life. Remote sensor seems to do a good job reporting the outside temperature.
