    Wonderful point & shoot camera for indoor and outdoor photography

    This is my second Olympus C-740. My first one was a faithful companion for 15 years until it finally gave up the ghost. It was such a versatile camera that I just had to get another. The picture quality is astonishing, especially in low light conditions, and even without the flash. This is my go-to camera for taking formal portraits, especially in dim lighting. It is the only point-and-shoot camera I have ever owned that take good "moon shots" and outdoor photography at night. It has an excellent zoom function. The only drawback is the delay between snapping the shutter button and the actual photo (while the light meter does its thing). However, if you partially depress the shutter button to get the light meter adjusted, then aim and fire, the operation goes much faster. This ...
