I bought this camera at an excellent price during the holidays to replace my old 4 MP Kodak camera. It is extremely easy to use and takes great pictures. It also has many different picture setting to choose from to adjust to different lighting situations and they actually work (if you are choosing the right one). While taking video, you are able to zoom in and zoom out and it plays back the videos with sound from the camera. I had read several reviews before buying the camera and was concerned about a clicking noise while recording and playing back video but learned you can change the AF Control under the video settings to "Single AF" and it solves the problem. :) The camera is very compact, available in a variety of great colors, and the battery lasts pretty long. If given the choice, I would definitely buy the camera again and would recommend it to EVERYONE!! :) Yes, even YOU! :) Happy Buying!Read full review
This camera in short is phenomenal. For a $120 camera it packs lots of good features that are easy to access and use for even the most novice of photographers. The battery life isn't all that great compared to other cameras in its class but it is still suitable for a travel camera as long as you are willing to carry around an extra battery. Overall its a great camera for anyone who likes to take high quality photos on the spot.
The camera came in a reasonable amount of time and appeared to be in good shape. There was some playing around to be done since there wasn't a manual or anything, but that's to be expected. I was surprised that it didn't have a charger because I thought those cameras usually came with them, but it did come with a USB cable that charges it from my laptop, so again, not a huge deal. I was also surprised that it didn't come with a memory card because there was one in the picture. Though, after we received the product we realized the card pictured was the internal card from the camera. The battery went dead within taking about 5 pictures, but after an overnight charge it seemed to hold well. I was also surprised to find pictures on the camera of someone I didn't know. :) Ultimately speaking, we got a good camera for a good price, so we are pleased. I spent several days being quite nervous, though, as we tested everything out and tried to figure out what we had bought. A more thorough summary of what to expect would have helped tremendously.Read full review
I can't really think of anything I do not like. Great little camera. Pretty user friendly. Some things seem to be a little less obvious on how to make changes then my last Kodak camera. Like changing the size/quality of the photo. Not sure how to do that yet so I have to go in and change all the photos to e-mail them. Took me a little while to figure out how to review the pic's. Maybe I am getting older and need to read through the manual:)Wish it it had a wide angle for taking pics of rooms as I am a Realtor and would like it to do double duty. But for the price I really can't complain.
I have this camera and like it, so I bought one for my mother in law and mother. It's easy to figure out and takes great photos, very clear and detailed. My favorite thing about it is it's size. I don't even use my video camera anymore. This camera is easier to carry around. It fits in my purse.
I think this camera is great!! It has crystal clear images & a touch-up feature that is great. So if I do happen to catch a "bad shot" I can clean it up with the touch-up. It has several different setting for almost any kind of event you are attending. It is small & easy to handle, it is not complicated at all. Anyone can pretty much get the hang of it! It is the best camera I have owned so far!
Great quality!! got it a charger and new memory charge for cheap and i love it! the pics are in great quality for such a good price! Thank you!

I dislike the blurry image that now comes out of the camera because I have wiped the len with a cleaning cloth and some glass cleaning solutions. I think I broke the focusing mechanism when I applied pressure to the len area. I loved the camera when I first bought it because it was SO clear and I liked the pictures that came out of it. Now, I have to live with the marginal picture qualities! God, Jesus Christ, is number one!!!
I purchased the m340 because an older model Kodak I had broke. Though my other Kodak hit the ground after someone dropped it and the LCD screen cracked, it still took pictures perfectly...which leads to my review of the m340. I bought it new on ebay from someone who won it as a door prize. It worked fine for 2 weeks then while using the video function, the lens someone got stuck and now the unit doesn't power on or off and is completely broken. It did not hit the ground - it did not fall in the water... just stopped working for absolutely no reason. It will be the last Kodak I buy. I would rather spend $300 for an Olympus.
Easyshare is the perfect name for this camera. It takes great quality pics. I purchased it for my mom, who is not camera savvy in the least, @ a great price. & She loves it! Taking pics are as easy as 1,2,3 now for her. In comparison to my Canon, the quality of the EasyShare's pics are much better. I have to purchase one for myself now.
