    Good design but needs better display and regular batteries.

    Same old product - new version

    I have had two other sets of these phones. The newest hasn't changed much. The phone has to be seated very carefully to make a connection. The holder is too shallow. If the phone isn't properly seated the battery will run out quickly. Replacement batteries are so expensive, it's cheaper to buy a new set.

    The amount of phones we wanted

    The phones work great! I am just disappointed the caller ID does not announce who is calling, just displays the phone number. My other V-Teck phone announced the name of the caller. The display light is dim and hard to see and the volume is to low. Also I can't fix the answering machine to give the correct day, date and time a message is left.

    Not for people with glasses

    I'm sure this set works fine; I even used it for a few days. But I went back to my old phones even with all their issues. The handsets and base are hard to read without a magnifying glass and strong light. Even then it's still really hard. Same with the display on the phone--hard to read without good lighting. And the menu and its operation is hard to follow. I'm in the process of returning this set.

    would not buy again

    I was disappointed with the phone because I cannot see the letters,they are so small and dim. I can't figure out how to get the other owners stuff off the phone. There is no instructions. One of them quit working already. Its my own fault for not looking into it more before I purchased something.
