High quality without the high price tag!
Citizen has been hitting these most recent Promaster watches out of the park. For 300$ or less I don’t think anyone could show me a better watch for the money. The fit and finish is superb it’s seamless from the bracelet to the case and everything lines up perfectly. It’s got a Milled clasp and ratchet dive extension that is outstanding. You’d have to spend twice as much to get these features on a seiko. Basically with this eco drive it’s always charging in any kind of light. This watch is basically service proof I have promasters from 20 years ago still ticking away. This watch is legible in all conditions and has great lume. For such wrist presence the watch wears very comfortably for a 46-48mm dive watch that’s built like a tank no dig and a crown at 4 o’clock just adds to the comfort ... Citizen has been hitting these most recent Promaster watches out of the park. For 300$ or less I don’t think anyone could show me a better watch for the money. Citizen has really outdone themselves with this range of Promaster. I just got mine & it fit straight out of the box as I have a large wrist. I do a lot of spear fishing & it’s perfect for this. Unfortunately Citizen could not repair my older Promaster as I left it too long & parts were unavailable so they offered me 1/2 price off a new one. This cost me $600, came from Melbourne, the back case is stamped , it has the oxygen bottle display tank & a FIVE YEAR WARRANTY !!! Visually I can’t stop looking at it, it’s the bomb when it comes to precision looking divers watches. My only criticisms would be that my old Promaster could not be fixed, it didn’t come with extra links or a rubber band for ocean use only. Other than that I absolutely love it, never needs servicing with the eco drive ... Citizen has really outdone themselves with this range of Promaster. Much better than the 21/24/29 models.
Much more wearable than the previous models mentioned above. I have owned the 21 model, and it is far too big for daily wear. This model is the same movement in a more traditional diver. Steel bracelet is good with micro adjustment that works very well over a wetsuit. Depth measurement features match my dive computer. Only issue is that 0 meters should logically be at the 12 o clock position. However, as the dial is less busy than the previous models, it's not a major issue.Much more wearable than the previous models mentioned above.
