OK, this is a GE digital camera which most of you have never heard of. For the very little amount of money I spent on it the pictures and features are excellent. AT VGA resolution you can fire off 150 shots without a break, It has 26 modes for every conceivable type of shot if you wish along with a 26x optical zoom. Spent 4 hours shooting in a museum in museum mode and got excellent pictures. I'm am amazed by the things this little camera will do considering its age and price. Download the manual and read for a while I think you might just want to buy one as the camera you carry for unexpected shots, assuming you are not using your cell phone.OK, this is a GE digital camera which most of you have never heard of. best kept secret
All you really need to do is to look at the spec of this camera. You will be impressed. IT has a lot of the features that didn't become standard until 5 years latter. I have 5 of them. One for each car to go along with my Canon 6D Mark 11 and T6i. Almost spent $500 for a Sony HX-99 when these entered the picture. Have never paid more than $20 for any of them. The main feature, that sold me on this camera, is the View Finder usually found only on cameras in the $400 price range. Arizona's bright Sun makes it impossible for me to use a camera with only the view screen to compose the photo. The price was well under $200. White cameras appear to be making a small dent in the market; it takes a while to get past the white. It has all the features of a more expensive camera; I hope to use some of these in the future, so far I have used it only as a point and shoot automatic.The main feature, that sold me on this camera, is the View Finder usually found only on cameras in the $400 price range. Great Camera for the price .
I bought it to replace a point and shoot GE A730 camera I had good luck with , but only had 5X zoom . This camera has 25X zoom and is fantastic. Easy to operate and the battery last a long time too. This camera does everything I want and more . It's nice to have the view finder to use when in bright sunlight . Video works well and you can play back on the camera . I bought in on E-bay ,from a vendor that had several used , probably a store return and it looks like new and works fine . I'm glad I took a chance .
