The picture on this is fantastic, but I don't have a lot to compare it to, The only other inspection camera I had experience with was much older and a grainy picture. Like anything it has it's good and bad points. I'll point out a few of the things I don't like. The base of these units needs to be heavier or more stout. When you're trying to reel the cable in or out it tends to move all over the place. Pretty much need another person to hold it in place while your operating the reel. The manual for this isn't much help, vague. Especially for someone that doesn't have really any experience with these. The skids or the stars you put on the spring on the backside of the camera get hung up very easily when trying to maneuver through fittings. What I found that helps immensely is to cut off the little ends that stick out from the tip of skids. Travels much easier through 45s, wyes, etc. Not sure if all machines are designed like this, but your foot counter on the cable registers as you turn the drum. If you're not paying attention to try and simultaneously turn the drum and push the cable at the same time you'll have an inaccurate reading.Read full review
