This book is Priscilla Presley's experience with the King, Elvis Presley. Priscilla met Elvis when he was stationed in Germany, she was then age 14. Less than 10 years later, her life changed all together as she became his queen. They married and one year later, she gave birth to their daughter Lisa Marie. Although they divorced in 1976 (one year prior to his death)...they remained close friends. This book will let you see a new personal side to an amazing man. It showed me, everyone is human; no matter the fame. I have respect for both Elvis & Priscilla...its a great Elvis fan read.
Could not put the book down, finished it in little time. Mrs. Presley wrote this book from the heart and goes in too detail about her life and times with Elvis. The first chapter grabbed my interest from the beginning and I was hooked until the end. If you are a fan of Elvis as I am, you can almost hear Priscilla's soft voice telling her story from the heart. While it widened my eyes about how Elvis was from day to day, the incredible commitment she gave too that man is unbelievable. If you want to keep a dry eye, don't read this book.
This is a wonderful story of how Priscilla met Elvis and their life together. This book seems to have no holds barred as some things are explicit. This book makes Elvis seem very...human, like your typical man. Elvis was one of the best rock musicians, an otherwise nice and generous guy, but from Priscilla's view of him, he sounded exhausting to deal with...his groupies, his leading ladies claiming he's their man, Elvis being controlling, etc. He threw a chair at her and tried to blame his temper on his dead mama... Yes, Elvis needed his butt kicked for some of the things he did. This book was a very interesting read and now it's re-released on audiobook and narrated by Priscilla.

I bought “Elvis & Me” by Priscilla Beaulieu Presley a couple weeks ago and could not put it down. The book is absolutely breathtaking the way Priscilla Beaulieu Presley describes her life events with Elvis make you feel like it’s happening to you. Making you laugh, cry and fall in love through out the book. It really makes you admire the woman that held and will always hold a special place in the Kings heart. I recommend this book every highly to everyone especially fans of Priscilla and Elvis. Enjoy Athina180
Wonderful book written by Priscilla, and only she could have said it all. The truthful story of their love and life together. Remarkable details of the marriage and love between them! Would read this one over and over again! I enjoy all Elvis books, but especially non-fiction books and found this to be very truthful. This book is full of different emotions as the life they led had very differnt aspects.
This book written by Priscella Presley is about how she met Elvis and how they grew close and started a life together. Also includes her life as a young teen, her early marriage and raising her child Lisa Marie. A really interesting book on their lives.

I had just been to Graceland so I really enjoyed learning more about how strange and crazy Elvis was. Book was in poor condition and kept on falling apart.

I decided to read this book, because I had seen the movie so many times. As an Elvis fan, I was curious to see how the two differed. The book is very easy to read, and Priscilla gives you an intimate look at her life with a legend.I realize that she was accused of a lot of things with this book, like making stuff up. I don't believe she made it up, why would she? I truly believe that Elvis was this way, but he did love her. I found the book interesting and enjoyed reading it. Denise
Awesome book, I'd recommend it to anyone that enjoys reading.

It protrays the other side of life living with one of fame. I have read other related things about Elvis but had always wondered how one could leave such a "perfect" person. It honors both of their lives and the struggles that finally brought them apart. Well written with interesting photos too.
