The filter was offered at a good price. The filter was exactly as described. I could not buy this filter in 1973, because the manufacturer had discontinued the filter. 50% of my lens are 48mm. The 48mm lens size is being phased out by current manufacturers. Imagine my surprise when this 62 year old filter was offered as brand new old stock. The shipper sent a note thanking me for the purchase. The box was old, but the plastic case and the lens was brand new with original instructions as well.

  • Kodak DC260 - Refreshing... and FAR from obsolete!

To be honest, I wasn't sure what I was getting into with the Kodak DC260. I had read a couple of intriguing reviews which, in summation, stated that this camera was once so far ahead of its time that it belongs more in the "now" than "then." So, when I stumbled upon a quality camera at a good price, I took the bait. Now, after a few weeks with the camera, I'd have to agree. Aside from its superficial bulk every little aspect of the camera is pin-point perfect. The LCD screen is large and clear. The flash is bright. Most important, at least to a point-and-shooter like myself, the DC260 is extraordinarily user-friendly. It takes me by the hand and it seems to say, "Relax! Exhale... Now ENJOY!" How nice to be reminded that gathering shots should be far more fun than ...

  • The Kodak DC260 stands the test of time...

This camera was actually the first thing I ever bought on eBay back in 2001 or 2002. Digital cameras, especially fixed-lens "point and shoot" units are what we call "disposable technology". As CCD's and lens technology advance and lower in price, many of the cameras we once paid top dollar for will fall by the wayside the way film cameras did once the digital revolution began. Having said that, Kodak's DC260 stands apart from the pack as a true survivor. If purchased for a low price, the DC260 will absolutely outshoot most plastic lens cameras with 5, 6, 7, or more megapixels. The high quality Ektenar lens has excellent optical zoom range, and the CCD produces crisp images worthy of print or web. I still use my original DC260 for eBaying purposes, and keep a second in the spare tire well ...

  • Excellent Dollar per Dollar best value

I PURCHASED THIS CAMERA AT EBAY USED AS A SECOND CAMERA. MY OLYMPIC IS NEWER AND MORE MEGA PIXEL AND A LOT MORE OPTICAL ZOOM BUT THIS ONE CAN RIVAL IT. I WAS SO AMAZED AT THE PICTURE QUALITY! HOW CAN A CAMERA FROM 1998 AND WITH JUST 1.6 MEGA PIXEL TAKE SUCH SUPER QUALITY AND DETAILED PICTURES? I HONESTLY CAN'T ANSWER THAT BUT IT'S TRUE! I NOW USE THIS CAMERA MUCH MORE THAN MY NEWER LIGHTER CAMERA. CONSIDERED THAT I SNATCHED THIS CAMERA FOR 26 BUCKS OUT THE DOOR AT EBAY WITHOUT ANY ACCESSORIES. I PURCHASED A 1GB COMPACTFLASH CARD AT MERIT.COM AND I CAN TAKE OVER 2000 PICTURES WITH THIS NOW!!!! WOW!!! I STICK MY COMPACTFLASH CARD IN MY CARD READER AND BOOM EASY TO LOAD. IT USES REGULAR AA BATTERIES A BIT FAST BUT JUST BUY 2500 OR ABOVE NIMH BATTERIES AND THEY SEEM TO LAST FOR EVER IN MY ...

  • Kodak 260

Picture quality is outstanding, better than most new cameras on the market -even with the low pixels. If you need a simple "true picture" camera - this is it. If you like a Lot of Bells & whistles then DO NOT BUY...It is a 1998 camera, with Super photo quality. Works great with XP as it was well before its time of Win98. Hard to use back then, now it is a simple usb attachment -connnect and download to pc or CD

  • Better than I expected. Great value for the money.

This camera takes better pictures than I thought it would. I was impressed. Only problem was that it doesn't use today's standard memory. I had to buy the compactflash memory for it. Would definately recommend this camera.
