This was listed as "open box", so I called the shop to ask for more details. Someone answered the phone right away, which was a great sign, and they told me it was a new guitar that had been returned. When I got the delivery, the outer shipping box was a little beat up, but everything else was basically brand new, tags on, plastic wrap still on the fretboard. I barely had to tune it and it was ready to play. I am very happy with this purchase and the seller.

This seller (proaudiostar) was fantastic across the board! The item was listed as "open box" so the price was a great deal, but I can't for the life of me tell where the box was opened. All of parts were factory sealed in plastic and zip-tied together on cardboard panels, just like brand new. The icing on the cake was that shipping was free and very fast. Based on my experience I just ordered another "open box" item from this seller with no hesitation whatsoever.

    This little bass is for-real a bass.

    This is quite a nice bass, especially for the price. It's fun to play, is tuned like a standard bass, and sounds really quite good. I just like to noodle around at home and write and record my own riffs. This makes it really easy t keep at the ready and lay down a bass part. My main bass is a great old Carvin LB60, which is all maple and weighs almost twice what this weighs. The Carvin sounds a smidge more to my liking, BUT this also sounds good. TBH I would not like this if I couldn't lay down parts I'd be willing to KEEP. If parts were only placeholders I wouldn't like this as much. But the tracks I record with this are totally usable in a mix. This little bass is a real bass.

    A great guitar, especially for the smaller dude

    The item came beautifully packaged, and even a week early haha. But as a guitar I’ve enjoyed the solid tone ive been getting out of it the past weeks, even out of my tiny practice amp. Im not gifted in the arm length genetics department, so this slightly smaller bass was a glorious find. The guitar itself is hefty and sturdier than I had anticipated as well. Overall, I’ve personally had a 5 star experience in the past few weeks haha

    Better Than Expected, Built Well, Plays Great, Nice Tone, Cant Beat The Price

    I am a full grown guitar/bass player over 25 years. I bought this in hopes of an affordable little Bass to have for studio use and was pleasantly surprised. While this would be a great starter guitar for smaller hands, I have a blast playing it. This is not a toy by any means, it is very well constructed, frets are nice and level, neck is smooth and very easy to play, tuners stay in tune and the volume and tone pots are just fine. With a new set of GHS short scale flat wound strings and a quick truss rod and saddle adjustment this is my go to Bass. Fits in a standard size guitar case and is light weight and easy on the shoulder when strapped on. Beginner to experienced player, this is a real instrument at a great price.
