Excellent entry-level HTiaB system
I had either this exact Onkyo Home Theater in a Box system, or something very, very similar. I had it for years and it sounded great. I've since upgraded, but this system got me through many movies and great TV shows (Game of Thrones, etc.) The receiver has a lot of great options for getting your audio dialed in just right, and though they might seem on the small side, the speakers (drivers) pack a punch. Let's put it this way: I still had this system when I watched Pacific Rim at home (in 3D) and I didn't feel like I missed anything not watching it in the theater. Getting this system for under $300 is a steal and definitely a better deal than many of the entry to mid-level soundbars...I had either this exact Onkyo Home Theater in a Box system, or something very, very similar.
