My purchase of the Sony AM/FM radio from Tampamark was a positive experience. Radio has an excellent tuner, with good reception even though I live a good 50 ,miles from the closest FM broadcasting tower. Furthermore, it doesn't tend to drift off station once set, and a signal strength LED is useful in tuning. The sound is also quite good for such a compact radio --- All in all one of the better products from Sony (or any other manufacturer).

This is an older radio bought used. I work in an old building with terrible reception due to old construction. So far this radio has only picked up one station. Now, that's actually a good thing! To date I have not been able to find a radio that picks up any...ANY stations. The one decent local station is good enough for the office. I have not tested it outside the office but I assume it will perform beyond my expections. The tuning dial is smooth and accurate. The option to use batteries or plug is is great.
