    Its not just for fishing rods.

    Don't let the pictures deceive you, this rod rack is built well. The rubber foam insert is not flimsy and it takes a little effort to squeeze something in there so it holds whatever you put in it real good. I'm using mine to hold several long gun cleaning rods onto the side of my tool cabinet that's holding all my gunsmith tools.

    Bout as good as your going to get

    These things do not last very long. The foam wears out after a couple of years and then the rods will not stay put. They do a decent job for what they are and there is not much better else available.

    Works great!

    I have never had a rod holder before have allways leaned them againt the wall, sure is nice having them secure and up and out of the way. For larger rods like saltwater its kind of a tight fit on the big end but still works. Was originally going to get a vertical holder but am very glad i got the horizonal one Its simple sturdy, good quality, very reasonable priced and looks great!

    Pros: simple, efficient pole storage. Cons: i bought two because it only hold three with reels attached. It is great for light poles, but not larger and heavier poles.

    Great for vertical rod installations as well.

    This rod rack installs is seconds and holds rods securely. My application was for vertical rod storage in my boathouse. I was actually able to store 10 rods by using the floor as one end. I just wanted to space rods and hold them against the wall . Ideal for that!
