It lasted many years. So I replaced it with the exact same one for the same wireless remote headphones it was designed for. Dependable and glad I purchased it.

Looked fine on arrival, no apparent shipping damage. I plugged in the power cord and red power led came on for about 1 second, then off forever. Unplugged and re-plugged cord at each end, stared at unit with no effect. Junking it and moving on.

This was the very first pair of wireless headphones I owned. I won them in a My Coke Rewards contest wayyy back in 2006 or so. They were so helpful during my late night movie or gaming marathons, even though I still got in trouble for staying up to 2am on a school night when I couldn't hear my mom's footsteps. I LOVED the simulated surround sound these guys made! And the quality was better than an FM radio! The batteries lasted a good 6-8 hours between recharges, but needed to sit on the transmitter for another 1-2 for a full charge. Some nights I was stuck with closed captions because rechargeable batteries were so expensive when you're in high school. The major flaws with this is that you can't exercise in these or get off the chair without them slipping around on your head. There's almost no elastic grip on the headset to keep them on your head. That's what killed my first pair in a year; One five foot drop to the hard floor and it will never turn on again.Read full review
