    Awesome little camera

    I am not a photography expert, but I wanted to get into photography a little deeper without lugging around a heavy dslr. This camera totally fits the bill. It fits in my front pocket and has a tremendous amt of high end features that are only available on a dslr. I am especially impressed with the image stabilization, how easy it is to shoot in manual mode, the timed shutter release and the superb image quality of this camera.

    Still my favorite

    This is my 3rd S120. Lost the previous 1st and 2nd to not checking for grit on the o-ring of the underwater case. I use this camera ALMOST exclusively for photos while scuba diving. It takes great pictures! You. It allows me to take pictures in RAW format. "Land" pictures are also of good quality. Video is good but the battery depletes quickly.

    S120 is a Must Have

    I very much like this little point and shoot, sound is good, image quality is also good, small pocket size is a big plus for shirt pocket hiking and light travel. Price is a tad high, but value and quality is there, don't think you'll go wrong with purchasing this one, ebay will run deals on it from time to time, that's where I goypt mine.

    Shockingly good images. For most, it's a great acquisition.

    Superb little compact, the S120 is a worthy evolutionary product in the PowerShot Sxxx family. The Digic6 sensor is sensational, providing reasonably sharp pictures with superior color interpretation. The one drawback, and in my personal situation, it's a biggie, is that there is no CHDK for the new Digic6 sensor in any Canon. Specifically, I needed the ability to do time-lapse photos, and it's not in the feature set, and many times only available through the CHDK. If you don't know what CHDK means, or don't need that still time-lapse ability then this little Canon is brilliant. If you find a deal of any kind, snatch it up.

    A great high quality pocket camera

    Great Camera! I upgraded for the S90. Picture quality is great. Automatic mode works very well. Getting use to using the touch screen. The wireless feature to transfer photo images is a nice feature. It consumes batteries faster than the S90. Recommend getting extra batteries.
