purchased the book “my feelings are like wild animals: how do I tame them?” I got it here because the price was $4.72. Condition is as described. The book was bent which likely occurred during shipping, because it was shipped unprotected, by itself. I wish it was shipped in protective cardboard or in a bubble wrap envelope (like other books from eBay.) Fortunately it’s easy to flatten out the bend by putting something heavy on top of the book. Therefore I’ll purchase from this seller again.

I would rate the book in the 2-3 range - intermediate to advanced guitarist
I purchased this book as a reference text for studying country guitar rhythms, riffs and licks. As with all Mel Bay books, it's very complete. The music is written in standard (stave) and tab form and the companion CD makes a nice addition. The only downside, the book is concise. As a prerequisite, to reap the full benefit of the material, it would be very beneficial to have some knowledge of basic music theory. All in all, an excellent book but not for the beginner. On a level of 1(beginning) to 3(advanced), I would rate the book in the 2-3 range - intermediate to advanced guitarist.I purchased this book as a reference text for studying country guitar rhythms, riffs and licks. This is a good book for what it is, however I'd recommend the William Leavitt Books for those seeking more serious studies. Note reading/rythym reading/chord studies/chord melody studies/ simple harmony/ technical exercises/theory etc.
