My phones were used so they failed to perform properly even with new batteries. However the batteries were made in China. I swapped known good handsets batteries with all units and two out of three failed to work consistently. I'm using all new batteries in older system and the older system still works well.

Best good looking phone I found out there.
Nice phone, great design, bluetooth works fine when you leave your cell at the desk beside the vtech base. I wish could be the other way around because I use an iPhone and I rather have my iPhone with me for all the apps and get my extension calls to my cell, but this feature works nice when you running batt low with your cell. The best things Nice design, bluetooth pairing with headset and cellphone. Very good range, I haven't tested how far it reaches, but i've been using it in an area over 2000 sq mts. Worst things, The touch technology in the phone makes it a little slow for dialing, it doesn't have a speed dial feature. Overall I bought it because the way it looks, and Im happy with it, the phone looks awesome on my desk, the range is great. I have it in my office and battery ... Phone works fine. I like the sleek feel and look. The first time I have seen a phone made out of glass facing. It has no buttons and is all touch sensative. We have no land line at home so we use this with one of our cell phone via bluetooth. The cell phone is on silence mode and this phone rings instead. Vtech could not have made a better phone for the price. There are other phone out there with the same feature but this phone really is among the better phones. A++Phone works fine. Great phone for the price
I've used it now for a week or two with no problems. Setup was easy. It would be nice if it had additional features (allowed you to connect more than 2 cell phones at one time-coming from a family with 4 cell phones) and if it could retrieve the contacts from the cell phone that would be absolutely awesome. A color screen and an internal memory so you could create very distinct ringtones for the cell phones vs. telephone would also be handy. There really wasn't a need to make the extension unit bases as large as they are. They could be cut in half to take up less room. Overall a great phone with great listening quality and I have tried making a call through the "bluetooth" using my cell phone with no problems.
