There are Eggs, Elves, an Elephant, an Eskimo and the Easter Bunny. The illustrations are simple and entertaining. There are more words that start with the letter "E" in the back of the book. This is a good book for pre-kindergarten and kindergarten children. The book is a good read-aloud and is also good for independent readers. When I was working as a school librarian, teachers would use books from the "My First Steps To Reading" series for phonics and letter recognition skills.
