Upon receiving it was clearly an "open box" item due to both seals being opened and interior packaging tape being broken. Thankfully the item was not used. With the seller having only 13 reviews I would recommend them to pay careful attention to eBay's item condition definitions for all future sales as well as take accurate photos.

Poor legacy support
When you make a PCI adapter with a universal connector and say in your published datasheet and user guide that it is PCI revision 2.1 compliant, then it should be 5 volt tolerant. TP-LINK says that the TG-3269 is in fact 5 volt tolerant. I doubt it. When I plugged this into my ancient Abit BH6 (Intel 440BX chip set) motherboard and turned it on there were no LED lights turned on and Windows did not recognize it. Windows couldn't find it even when I told Windows to search for a new network adapter.
