2005 Forester XT
Perfect fit, no issues during install. Took a lot, I mean A LOT of tweaking and adjusting to get them set up properly. Be sure to correctly set preload to eliminate coil bind, and clunking. Currently have dampening settings at 16 clicks front/13 clicks rear. Any softer and they get clunky. They ride great, and drastically improve the cars handling. These replaced blown wrx struts. If you need a quick, cheap coilover these will work great. Build qulaity is decent. However the strut body is already developing some surface rust in this rough Indiana winter. I suggest coating them with some sort of grease/oil to prevent this, and also make sure you can adjust them in the future. Lowered the car nicely as well. These are a great value for the money, already got buddies who want the same ones.Perfect fit, no issues during install. Already installed in the car. Believe it or not the dampening DOES work. Still stiff though. For the price these are great coils. I dont mind the way they ride at all. RECOMENDATION: there is a ton of preload on the springs the way they come. I backed the perch all the way off and tightened it just snug so there's no play in the coil. This is the key to getting a better ride. Or else yes they will be dumb stiff and bouncy.Already installed in the car. Believe it or not the dampening DOES work. Still stiff though. So far so good
Fitted on a 2004 wrx. Cant say much for durability just yet. Probably have close to 500 miles on them so far. As of right now its going pretty well. Welds and finish looked good. They fitted well but had to bend the brake line support to fit. Cant compare to anything expensive but they ride alot stiffer and feel more solid then the 2 sets of coilover i had on a e46 bmw.
