Okay at room temperature
I love the Sonic Rider. It allows me to have "modern car" hands free communication in our 15 year old vehicle. Took a bit to learn it but not bad. The biggest downside is how the unit behaves when left in a car that is either too warm or too cold. If the car has been parked under the hot sun, all day or outside in subfreezing temperatures all night, the unit says in error that the battery level is low. After the car cools or warms to a normal range, the battery level is read as correct if the unit is restarted. Most likely a design flaw with a sensor. There sometimes is an annoying beep that accompanies this error, even after the temperature is normalized. Still it's a cool device with probably more built in that I will ever know or discover.
