    Lorex lack of support

    The visuals on the camera works fine. You can even hear the person outside. Light works too. The issue is you can’t talk to the person via 2 way talk unless you have the new 6108 X series. The siren won’t work either unless you have the new X series. Of course Lorex doesn’t tell you that on their website. I have the previous 6108 N series that was purchased 6 months ago. Everything works the same except the features you’re buying it for-active deterrence and talk. Details. How hard is it for them to program it in?

    Great camera, sturdy construction, easy to install and set up.

    Great Camera system. I originally purchased an 8 channel DVR with 6 cameras. I have since added the other two cameras. They are easy to install, provide great picture quality, robust construction, and I like the active deterrence capability although I'm only using that function in one location. The remote controlled alarm has come in handy to scare away some crows that took to hanging out on my cabin's hand rails. In addition, we have very poor Internet upload and download capabilities and when set to the lower resolution, I can watch all 8 cameras remotely with no problem.

    Great addition to my current system

    I am very happy with the Lorex home security system that I purchased. Although it comes with a limited amount of cameras, the system is expandable. I found a dealer who has reconditioned cameras and took a chance by ordering one. I am very happy with the camera and it blended into my current system without any problems.
