    One Nation by Time LIfe

    I purchased this book for a friend who wanted to give it to her young grandson as a way to remember September 11, 2001. Since he was not born at the time of this travesty, she thought having the book would be a great way to allow him to have a piece of history, thus we never forget that horrible day. The book was very well organized with photographs and explanations of each of the photographs. As all Time Life products, this book was very well written and dealt strictly with what occurred that fateful day without getting “political” and/or pointing blame at our government leaders. If anything, this book brought attention to the many heroes that day--firefighters, law enforcement officers, and average citizens who were going about their daily lives never knowing or realizing that it would ...

    Time Life Hardcover is great to have around as memory!

    I never really knew how quite traumatic this must have been to the people involved, yet it all shook us to the bones. How could this have ever happened in the first place? Well, we now know that it did and this memorial book is just a small glimpse into the lives of how September 11th, 2001 events changed the way we think and operate today. I couldn't put the book down. It captivates your imagination and brings you back to that fateful day when so many thousands of innocence good people lost their lives.

    One Nation

    I had a copy of this after Sept. 11, 2001. It has information about the many buildings that were damaged or ruined in the attack; there are many more buildings than the 2 towers that were destroyed. I even used it to do a middle school lesson plan for one of my college education courses; then I loaned it and never got it back. I have been searching and am so happy to have a copy of it. And...this one is hard cover in EXCELLENT condition. Thanks.
