    A good value for a very useful range

    I bought this for use on a Sony A7II with the LA-EA4 adapter. Initially, I thought I had a defective lens, but it seems that its behavior is typical for this model and for the Konica-Minolta version of the same lens. This behavior is that the lens, when first attached using either the LA-EA3 or LA-EA4 to an A7II or NEX-7, is not initially recognized. The aperture stays at F-- and AF (on the LA-EA4) is not available (this lens is always manual focus on the LA-EA3). However, pressing and release the lens release button on the adapter "wakes up" the lens, and it is then recognized by the camera and can be used correctly. Turning the camera off and on does not make it lose connection again. An odd thing, though, is that on a NEX-5T, the lens is immediately recognized, with either adapter... ...

    What a surprise!

    I have to say I made a right decision, the lens is sharp, and physical appearance is so good, hard to say it is over 10 years. I truly doubt, the previous owner every used it. It work very well on my Sony a7 with LA-EA4 adapter.
