Duke Nukem 3D Sega Saturn
Duke Nukem 3D for the Sega Saturn is a good time. It's not exactly like the PC version the graphics are a little more dull but still a great port. I enjoyed using the awesome Saturn 6 button controller instead of my keyboard. This version is a little better than the PS1 version in my opinion. A classic that came not long after Doom that started the 1st person shooters that you see a lot of today. If your a fan of Duke Nukem, I would recommend this version of the game.Duke Nukem 3D for the Sega Saturn is a good time. Hail to Lobotomy baby! You don't need Forever for Duke greatness.
Lobotomy helmed three FPS experiences on the Saturn and each of them achieved good success for the underdog Sega Saturn, as well as a lot of respect from Saturn gamers. Duke Nukem 3D is their 3rd and final success of the Lobotomy trio (consisting of Powerslave and Quake beside it). Duke 3D is originally a PC game and consoles of the time seldomly coudl ever have an uncompromised port, this one is no different. What is good about Duke on Saturn is that it plays fairly stable, includes an extra minigame (complete with silly intro theme), and it looks pretty good for its time to boot. If you played Quake (which I recommend and reviewed also on Saturn) before it, you'll be familiar with how Lobotomy handled the game and controls. This version even featured true head-to-head network play ... Lobotomy helmed three FPS experiences on the Saturn and each of them achieved good success for the underdog Sega Saturn, as well as a lot of respect from Saturn gamers. Duke 3D shares a similar problem to Quake in that you'll have a learning curve to find the control setup you like best (there's even a hidden code that lets you use a Turok control setup, why this was code hidden and not apparent is beyond me.) Also, since compromises had to be made to make surethe game could be ported at all, not all levels are faithful to the original PC source material. Some levels are spliced and whatnot. This review was written post Duke Nukem Forever release, the infamously long delayed sequel of Duke 3D and let me tell you, I think this game holds up better. While Forever wants to evoke that classic feeling, only the classic 90s Duke can truly get the job done right in my opinion.

Better than Doom (for the Saturn at least)
At first the game made me a little nauseous but things are better now that i got the hang of moving around in the game using the analog controller

Also in Duke Nukem 3D you can also have multiplayer action, so you will be able to kill all your friend like crazy.
