    Pickup Truck Tailgate weight reducer:

    Installed in less than an hour with a husky friend, as you need to remove the tailgate. Tip: Placing the tailgate on a carpet and in the bed of truck makes the second drill hole easy. Even with a folding ladder assembly, I can close the Nissan Titan Tailgate with just three fingers. Prior, it took both hands and a struggle to close tghe tailgate. Fantastic idea, and works better than a shock strut conversion.

    some fab work needed

    Was assured it would fit a 2014 Silverado 1500 w/t. However........ area in tailgate where 3/8" drilled hole is to be, there is a rectangular hole already. I've made a sheet metal patch panel to fill the area and drilled the 3/8" hole in it. Will trial fit tonight (need son to help). Also found template confusing as to placement of it and do you use the "x" to locate 3/8" hole in bed side. ( I have an 05 Silverado w/t and installed your unit years ago and it was a snap. love it)

    Fantastic item

    Greatest invention since sliced bread. Easy to install once you get tools needed and take time to make sure your measurements are correct. I installed by myself and it took about an hour. I had to tie the tailgate in the center and suspend it for the twist required to position the bar. It would have been easier with a second person. Not bad overall. I can now close the tailgate with one hand with almost no effort. I should have installed on my 2004 Nissan Titan years ago. Great product. Thanks

    Wonderful, works GREAT !

    Installed it today with the help of my son, only took about 30 minutes or less. I think that everyone would love having one of these on their tailgate. I have serious back trouble and raising the tailgate on my '08 Dodge Ram was very hard for me.     The Little Bar that Could

    this is an amazing little bet steel bar. I didn't think it would really do what they claimed but it does, it really does. I have a 04 F 150 Heritage long box with an added side ladder step installed on the tail gate and when i used to lower it , it would slam down ahd lifting it was almost a two are ordeal. Now the the Easy-lift bar installed its just unlatch and the gate comes down softly and to raise it you just lift it up with a couple fingers. This should of been standard on all tailgates. Love it.
