I have a lot of bow experience and this bow the stringer is hands down the best bow you can get. If you are buying for a young person it can be adjusted as they grow and gain strength. The range of adjustment is tremendous. It is light and well balanced.

Just starting out. This is my first bow. It's worked great so far. Only thing is, I did have to put a different arrow rest on and also I put on a 60yard site on because the one it comes with is only a 40 yard. I get a lot of compliments on the look of this bow.

A great bow for the price. If you don't mind a jumpy cam at full draw wheight, this bow is light and accurate with plenty of speed for versatile shooting aspects. Ithe seems to be pretty quiet for a bow that suppose to shoot 300 fps, but only the future hunt will tell.

Received my bow about 30 minutes ago, and I love it. I haven't got to shoot it yet but I will be doing it here soon. So I will update afterwards. Thank you so much!

This is a great bow for the price, I would say this is above a beginner bow, and with a few extras added this bow is up their with the big boys... I am so happy with the quietness, the easy pull the light weight... Thank you PSE...

I think the PSE Stinger Bow is all you ever need for bow hunting. It's got lots of speed, and it's really easy to tune and adjust. I don't know why anyone would need a more expensive bow. I shoot just as well with my Stinger at the archery club as all the other guys and gals with the $1000 bows. Just because it costs more, doesn't mean its more accurate or deadly. However, because the PSE Stinger is marketed as an entry level hunting bow, it often comes with cheap accessories. Most retail packages include a sight, rest, sling, and stabilizer that kinda suck. This is the downfall of the this bow as a package. My advice is to do what I did. Buy the Stinger as a basic bow (no package), and place a really good sight and rest on it. I can guarantee that you'll be happy with the way this thing shoots. By the way, the reason most of these expensive bows get such great reviews is because the manufacturers place top quality accessories on them. So they're obviously going to shoot well. Those same accessories on a "lesser" value bow will be just as accurate. If all you want to do is hunt, then I don't think there is any need to spend more money than you will on the PSE Stinger. A more expensive bow might make a person look cooler at the archery range, but they will look pretty stupid when the guy next to them using a PSE Stinger is shooting just as well, and he still has money left over to buy even more hunting equipment. These are my thoughts. I hope they help.Read full review

The PSE Stinger is a great bow and an excellent value, easy to sight in and accurate beyond belief. I would recommend it to the novice or experienced archer alike, the only thing I would do different is to buy the bow with no accessories. Most people will end up upgrading the sight, release, arrows and stabilizer in short order. The included accessories get the job done but are low end as far as quality.

Right out of the box I was shooting respectable groups at 10yds. This is my third PSE, first brand new one, and was easily adjusted to 1" high on bull at 20 yds. In less than 12 shots I was out hunting and confident in my new weapon. I had never once shot this model prior and found that the gamble was worth it. I am not a pro bow shooter, but when a beginner like me can take a weapon out of a box and put arrows in a 2" diameter bullseye at 20 yds in minutes, I'm a believer!

Just recently purchased this bow and it took just having to adjusted to my draw length and weight. 10 mins and very small adjustments made on the sight. Now tearing up the bull on my target. Quiet as can be. All I hear is the pop of the target. Will be buying a PSE for my daughter bc she wants to shoot now.
