The down jacket arrived with a strong fragrance in a small plastic bag. After airing it out, the fragrance has gone; but it has unmasked an underlying putrid chemical smell that most likely to be permanent, according to my past experience with EBay items. Seller is evasive in response hinting me to donate it to Goodwill. The item listed return not accepted for a "XXX" reason. Shipping charge $14 is excessive for ground advantage of a distance of 680 miles. NOT RECOMMEND THIS SELLER.

Unfortunately, scent is very subjective. I have a keen sense of smell and didn't notice any foul odor on this jacket. It was stored in a crate with other items and that must have been the culprit. I refunded all of her money, shipping & let her keep the jacket. Some people you can't please. I was extremely disheartened to see her perception of smell explained in such slanderous & defaming ways. This was not something I did intentionally. See all the great feedback I have received by others.
