Canon BJC 1000 Ink Jet Printer Review
I bought the Canon BJC 1000 Ink Jet Printer to be a replacement for the Canon BJC 1000 Ink Jet Printer that I already had, because its’ cartridge holder was broken. The printer I bought has a different problem and will not print. I’m working toward getting both fixed, because I like the product. I’ve enjoyed using the printer that I had and consider it a good printer. The printer uses the black ink cartridge BC-02, color ink cartridge BC-05 and color ink cartridge BC-06 Photo. When using the BC-06 Photo cartridge, you use the high resolution paper HR-101. When using the black ink cartridge, the printer will print faster than when it uses the color ink cartridges. The more you have to print on a page the slower it will go. So far I’ve only used BC-02 & BC-05 cartridges. If I want to ... I bought the Canon BJC 1000 Ink Jet Printer to be a replacement for the Canon BJC 1000 Ink Jet Printer that I already had, because its’ cartridge holder was broken. I’ve enjoyed how the printer is small enough to fit on top of my computer tower, though on some computer towers you might not be able to do that. Thank you for your time and patience. Canon BJC 1000 Printer
Bought this for a family friend. I have one just like it and it has always been a dependable, easy to use, basic printer. Easy to hook up and use. Printig is probably slow compared to newer models, but works just fine for basic users. I would buy one again.

OK, laser printers have become inexpensive, except for the consumables. And many people want or need color printers. The Canon BJC-1000 does color only in the sense that you can substitute a color ink cartridge for the usual black one - not exactly your typical photo printer... But for run of the mill draft printouts, this Canon BJC-1000 with a BC-02 (or the equivalent Apple ink cartridge - available on EBay for about $5), can't be beat. Great Printer!
I have had this printer since 1999 and it has never ever given me a single problem! It has been moved many times and it just keeps going! If you need a printer that does great black and white quality and fair color quality this is the one for you!
