    • Stay Alive

I thought this was a very good movie. This movie tells the story of Hutch (Jon Foster) a young man with an unfourtunate past who, after a close friend is killed, obtains an underground video game that his friend was testing before he died. When his friends (played by Sophia Bush, Frankie Munis, Samaire Armstrong, Jimmy Simpson, and Adam Goldberg) play it looks like an average videogame until, one of the game characters die. The next day Hutch finds that his friend is dead in a similair way his character was killed in the game. Now he must figure out a way to save himself and his friends from the game's antagonist, Countess Elizabeth Bathory, who hunts them down and kills them as they die in the game one-by-one. I loved the premise of the story, being a gamer myself. I loved the idea ...

    • It was okay but what can you expect?

If you find this guide to be helpful, please vote "yes" at the end! In case you don't know what the movie is about... "Stay Alive" is the name of a new underground video game. The game was created by some weirdo obsessed with the story of a crazy dead woman. Anyway the game is voice activated and once the entry passage is recited, you have to fight to stay alive in the game as well as real life. If you die in the game you die the same way for real. I found this movie to be more funny than anything else. The guy who plays Malcom from "Malcom In The Middle" is hilarious in this movie. There is one part close to the end where he curses at the evil spirit. LMAO he says, "b%%4h you're cheating, I didn't die yet!" HA HA ...

    • A Different Kind of Scare!!!

'Stay Alive' has an original concept involving videogames that works out rather well. A fresh young cast with decent acting skills, the legendary tale of Countess Elizabeth Bathory, and stylish special effects make this a nice flick to spend a night on with a date, some friends, or all by your lonesome. The videogame graphics are surprisingly good and almost make me hope they really bring the game out. The deaths are creative and the movie is entertaining enough to hold your attention throughout. If anything it may at least make you think twice before playing another survival horror game. 3.5/5

    • Stay Alive (2006, DVD)

I am into collecting movies, and this movie at frist I hesitated to get. I didn't think it would be something I would like because of it being about a video game but I was glad that I did get it, it wasn't at all like I thought it would to be. It did turn out to be a pretty good Horror/Thriller. This one kind of made me think twice about some video games today. This is a movie I could watch more than once. It is about a video game and once you play ity,and if you die in it that is the way you will die in real life, annd your death will be in the video game. It is a great action packed thriller. Being Honest I will have to give it 4 of 5 Stars.
