    Works Great for under 50 Bucks

    I was a bit apprehensive about ordering this player for I heard it will not play newer blu-ray disks. To my surprise I have not have had a problem at all. Avitar, Couples Retreat, and Legion all played without error. The player came out of the box with the last firmware upgrade that was offered before Insignia discontinued this player (late May of 2009) It connected right away to the internet and once a flash drive was inserted BD Live worked fine. I connected the optical output to my Sony DTS receiver and wow ! the sound blew me away. Great picture as well, using a hdmi cable with my hi-def tv. The Dvd tray that is controlled by the remote worked smoothly. The cosmetics of the case looked very good for being refurbished . The only scratch I even noticed was very small and on the ...

    What a suprise!

    I was on the prowl for a Blu Ray player but was not sure it was any better than the up convert player I already had. I searched E-bay and came across this player. For the price offered I figured it was a good way to get into the Blu Ray market without spending a lot of money just to see if it was for me. It arrived packaged very well, and even though refurbished, it looked brand new. I went on line, got the manuel and performed the firmware upgrade. My first movie was "Avatar", It blew me away. What an unexpected surprise. Unfortunately it is not wireless or stream Netflix, but one hell of a player for the money.

    Great player for the price

    Great Bluray player, I've had no problems playing discs (like some other reviews have said), easy setup, great quality audio & video. Overall for the price I'm very happy (so much I bought on for my sister, and she loves it!). IT DOES NOT PLAY NETFLIX, for those who might want it for that, but thats really the only down side from most other blurays.

    Insignia NS-2BRDVD Blu-Ray Player

    great player for the price, however you need program to play Mp3 music and view pics in media player. very easy to use. The program you can download online and install to the player :)

    For a budget blu-ray player you can't go wrong with the quality!

    I received this player for extremely cheap so that was a plus from the beginning. It is a blu-ray player and it does just that. Movies look great...could not be happier with the picture! Haven't had a chance to test wifi/netflix yet but if I have a problem with those I'll change the review. Great product for the money!
