Realistic and harrowing street combat scenes. The strain of combat wears on the German soldiers as attrition sets in as casualties mount.

The film STALINGRAD is named for the crucial battle fought between Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union from September 1942 to February 1943. This is a production made from the German perspective of that campaign and it focuses on various soldiers in the German Wehrmacht who fight in the streets of that city in grim, bloody urban warfare against the soldiers of the Soviet Red Army determined to stop them.

  • Great foreign WWII movie.

Bought the South Korean release (English version). Picture and audio quality excellent. Great war movie with a different perspective. It's nice to see movies occasionally without the nonsense typically provided by Hollywood Cuckoo birds.

  • Very well done

Stalingrad was a very realistic and authentic film depicting German Army troops fighting in the Eastern Front against the Soviet Red Army.It was a very accurate depiction of battle experience from the German POV showing that although they were part of the Axis forces fighting the Soviets, the film showed their human side and the same things be they “Good, bad or ugly”along with the usual BS that soldiers both Axis and Allied alike put up with.

  • Good movie.

Well it's a good movie even with the South Korea language. I tried to get it over to the English language but couldn't. Damn shame too. Lol

  • Better than others on Stalingrad

Shows the brutal war very realistically. No great special effects, just very stark. The German people went though such a total waste and defeat. ActingGood was great.
