    I'm glad I found it!

    I have been reading Stephen King since I was 12 years old or for 41 years. As an adult, I have collected all his books. The only one I didn't have was this one, as I never could find a reasonable priced one when I was able to get it. It was exactly as described. It was wrapped very securely and arrived quickly.     His Very First

    Not his best work of course this was his first attempt at a novel, I do prefer his newer stuff, but "Carrie" is a favorite movie of mine so I had to get the book..Stephen King does a great job of getting the reader inside the characters head..Though the book and the movies both the classic starring Sissy Spacek and the remake as well did have changes in them the book was still a fun read..In the beginning of the book we are introduced to Carrietta White..ie: Carrie, a plump (though not plump in the movies) young Girl age 17 getting ready to graduate school..Carrie is abused both at home and in school so when she discovers her special telekenetic powers a gift given to her apparently from her grandmother Carrie decides to make her tormentors pay yes even her religious zealot Mother Margret ...
