    So happy I made the choice to purchase this product.

    This is a hillarious 1930's mystery movie spoof! I rented it in my hometown enough times to buy the movie 5 times over. I kept waiting for it to arrive in my town to buy but it is an independant film and hard to come by. I was so glad that Ebay had many many items of this product to choose from in different qualities and price. I was so happy to find a great quality item an an extremely low price in fabulous shape. This product was just as good as the brand new copy I had been rented and I am incredibly happy to have it. If you have not seen Larry Blagmire's movies rent one today because they are very high quality spoofs of old timey genre movies with great sound effects and musical score.     Spoof of "Old Dark House" flicks lights up with laughter

    Not so much a spoof of those old black and white haunted house comedies as a loving recreation, only made with more care and real laughs than those cheap Hollywood B pictures ever seemed to manage. Great fun for both fans of old movies and people who enjoyed writer/director/star Larry Blamire's "Lost Skeleton" movies (and it's got Bob Burns of "Ghost Busters" fame donning the old gorilla suit one more time after many years for those of us who remember how gosh darn cool that was!).

    Absolutely chuckle enducing!

    I loved this movie. Was so excited to get it and watched it right away. Larry Blamire makes the greatest parodies of old movies around. Every dark house murder mystery cliche was present - every one made me chuckle. I laughed all the way through this movie - just love it! Will probably watch again tonight to catch all the stuff I missed the first time - because I know I missed some of the small details that are always present in a Larry Blamire flick - If you love old 30's era dark house mysteries - and love parodies - you much see this! It's awesome!

    Adequately hokey, OK value at less than full price.

    Mildly amusing retro take on 1940's 'haunted house' genre. Some classical stereotype characterizations are mocked, while the sets, special effects and scene framing are faithful to the era.
