    Okay, the first thing I’ll say about this DVD is it is really hard to find. This is the unholy grail of horror movies! You’re not going to find a better version of this, the original “Dawn of the Dead”! On a 5 star rating I’d give this a 20! As far as the seller, I’d give them the same rating. The DVD arrived surprisingly fast and in excellent condition! I couldn’t be happier! If you’re into the “Living Dead” series of movies this is a must and you can’t get better than this!

    Quintessential Romero!

    The actors did a great job in this Romero Zombie flick. Romero has a style and this movie delivered just the right amount of blood and gore. I loved the way he ended it leaving us to wonder if anyone is left alive.

    Save your money!

    The only thing about this that makes it a collector's edition is that they printed the words Collector's Edition on the jacket, it's a very poor, dark print and it's an edited version of the movie. You're better off spending the extra money for a director's cut so you're sure you're getting a good quality DVD. This is a piece of junk and I'm sorry I bought it.

    Cult B movie of the late '70s

    Odd, yet fun movie to see. Somehow the zombie's are in vogue again. I've got a relative in the film, so that's why I watched it (again). There was a 40th reunion of the 1978 filming in Monroeville PA (@ the Mall) in early June 2018 where lots of the cast members were in attendance. Nice group of folks.

    Old School

    Even though this came out in 78 I saw it numerous times in the early 80s. We had a theater in town that showed midnight movies on Saturday night and this was one of them. Just love good classic horror movies from my teenage years. Good quality product.

    Disappointed

    The back was written in Korean which we didn't mind much because we've seen it before and know what it's about. What Disappointed us the most was one of the best scenes in the whole movie was cut out. And it's supposed to be a directors cut?? Very disappointed..
