The game is quite fun however it's little bit complicated and a little bit more strategic than other games. The story is interesting for a post apocalyptic setting. Graphic are a bit dated but still pleasing. The combat is much more complex for a turn based game with a lot of focus on tanks, making sure to be strategic on what enemies to face. Over all a great game.

Recommended for fans of turn-based RPGs and mech series who don't mind some budget aspects. +Good variety of characters and tanks +On-foot and vehicle battles/explorations +Variety of classes with unique skills to mix/match +Tons of weapons to choose for loadouts +Great amount of content for value -Graphics are Vita-level, not PS4 -Story is thin and women are treated poorly -Locations and dungeons are very similar -Balance varies wildly from battle to battle

The game is terrific, with a lot of excellent design decisions! That said, your stomach for Metal Max gameplay (a lot of which is standard across the entire franchise, a la Dragon Quest) will determine how much you enjoy this. I've enjoyed many other entries in the franchise, so this one is no exception!
