    You don't need cycling attire to ride comfortably with this saddle.

    By far the most comfortable saddle I've ever used. I like it so much I just purchased two more even though the same saddles on my two bikes are barely worn, only the lettering design will come off after frequent use. The athletic version is slightly narrower yet does not restrict my leg movement like the wider version. I destroyed one saddle in a crash in November 2019 and so I now want to keep extra saddles in case this product is discontinued. You can find lighter saddles but the slight gain in weight is worth it to not be soar from riding. (December 3, 2020)

    Your Bottom Will Thank You

    Quality Italian saddle than leans toward sporty rather than cushy. It has much more padding than the typical racing saddle, but Selle Royal puts this saddle in their "Athletic" line and that is where it belongs. I would not say it is the most comfortable/soft saddle but it does its job very well. Since putting on my city bike, I have not experienced any pain or numbness. It is well priced and as I said in the title, Your Bottom Will Thank You.

    Very comfortable

    This replaced the saddle that my new gravel bike had. It is quite comfortable, great for long rides. Not light weight, but since I'm not a pro I don't mind carrying a few more grams as long as I'm comfortable

    Very Comfortable, Lightweight and Cool

    The Selle Royal Respiro (Athletic) is the best saddle on the market for the price in my opinion, I have three bikes and each has this saddle on them. The Athletic size is the most narrow of the 3 sizes and works great on road or MTB bikes.

    Great comfort

    The seat has great comfort and unloads the perineum. Only problem is, the frame structure underneath widens out so quickly at the back, that it is not compatible with most under seat bags.
