Garage door comes down then right back up with lights flashing/clicking sound. Had to hold down wall remote in order to close door. This is the perfect solution. Changed out both sensors within 15 minutes and door works immediately with just one push of remote. Unplug opener first. Now cut off old sensors wires as close to the sensors so you don’t waste your existing wall wires. Strip all 4 wire ends about 7/8” and insert wires (White to White and White/Red to White/Red) into Orange connectors (Use 2 connectors per sensor) until it fully reaches the end then crimp down on protruding side of connector to lock wires in place. New brackets are a bit flimsier/skinnier compared to my old ones plus they were hard to attach to side rail so I mounted sensors on my old brackets instead. My opener is a 2001 Liftmaster 1/3 HP Chain Drive Model 1345 P/N 41A5021-1F. These sensors, 801CB-P, are said to work with all Liftmaster/Chamberlain openers made from 1996 or newer. Similar sensors is Liftmaster P/N 041A5034. Hope this helps others with same problem as I had.Read full review

My sending sensor shorted out when Ida caused my house to flood. It took a long time for the post office to deliver. But once it came, I replaced the bad sensor with the new one in 10 minutes and my garage door now functions like new.

The metal brackets are bit tricky to install. Once they're on, it's pretty solid. Do not bend it.
