This is the actuator that mounts toward the middle of the heater box as shown by the red arrow in the photo. It connects to the arm that controls the blend-air door in the middle, front of the heater box. This motor often fails due to excessive moisture inside that area of the heater box, where the vacuum port inside tends to rust closed or break off.”
