The rechargeable lamp arrived 4 days early, which is always a good thing. :) Having said that, I 'm not at all pleased with this lamp. Came with a USB cable, about 4 inches long. I used my phone cable to charge it up, which took about 2 hours. A red light glows at the base while charging, goes off when fully charged. Not enough light to read with. Gave it to my neighbor who needed a lamp. Guess I'll go to a store and get one like I had before. :(

Busy multitasking while tapping on my PC keyboard at 4:00 in the morning! It shines bright enough on low setting, without annoying my eyes with excessive bright light at such an early hour! A little bit of light or much brighter light, all at the touch of a button! Amazing how all this fits inside of one small desk lamp!
