  • Not a bad mic

There are better mics, but this a good condenser for overheads and acoustic instruments. Even vocals with the Pop filter. Got it cheap, and it seems to be durable enough to do what I need. If you can get a pair new for 75 bux or under, you won't regret it. Some reviewers try to compare these to mics costing 4 times as much. WELL, duh, I an definately tell a difference between my old BeyerDynamic M69 I paid over 300 bux for YEARS ago and my Nady SP-1 I paid 5 bux for too BUT it's all relative. (The SP-1 does an admirable job as a general mic anyway while the M-69 can be a bad fit for certain vocalists). Anyway, pick a pair up for 50 bux or less, you've done great UNLESS you can find a set of Audix F-15's at the same exact price then go with Audix.

  • good item: nady CM 88 microphone

I love microphone. It's in good cosmestic and good working. It's great with my drum set. I buy it because It's cheaper many other drum microphone. It's light and tidy.

  • Decent mics for the price.

Seems like a decent little mic. Used it overhead on a drum kit. Picked up well, and seemed pretty free from feedback. I had stage monitors in front of the drum kit, and the kit was slightly in front of the FOH mains. Tone was clean, no real harshness. Not bad for the price.

Nice... and cheap... In music you pay for what you get... sometimes you get a little more. And this is one of those times... If you know how to work in the box... you can EQ it and make it really work for you.
