    GREAT PICKUPS!

    I recently put a set of these in my Fender Geddy Lee. I record and that Fender 60 cycle hum is a pain. These not only took care of that but still gave me that Fender jazz sound on steroids. Perfectly quiet and powerful but clean. Very articulate. I put these in and I have to say after all the research I did for me these were the right choice. No hum. They still have that Fender sound with plenty of punch or growl if I dig in. The best part was they fit right in my Mexican Geddy Lee with no extra routing. They fit like a glove. The instructions were clear and these were a snap to install. I wish I had done this much sooner. I can't say enough about Aguilar. I'm in love with this bass again because of these pickups.

    Aguilar AG 4J-HC Pickups.

    These pups are amazing. Put them on a 2011 Fender Standard American Jazz Bass and it really pumped up the output. More energy and growl as well as tonal increase. Best mod that I could have put into an already great instrument. I highly recommend these Pickups.

    Much hype for little, too expensive, not better than original Fender

    Not much better than original Fender pickups; hum cancelling yes, but soundwise pretty coarse and flat. Too much hype for this price, I don't recommend. I would like to return mine and keep the Fenders as they are more versatile. Another con is that they produce a strong feedback and every string starts to selfoscilate and create noise no matter how low is the volume. I can't really cover all my strings all the time.
